Duke Of Connaught (1916)

Duke of Connaught and Princess Henry of Battenberg - 11 November 1916. Location of events unknown. M/S of a woman in fur coat and large hat - probably Princess Henry of Battenberg - walking towards camera, accompanied by a man in military uniform and a man in civvies. Seems to be on a parade ground. Before a large building a clergyman conducts a service at an altar draped with the Union Jack flag. Another flag is carried past camera. Crowd looks on. Several shots of a parade in city streets watched by large crowds. Ornate coach comes along street , drawn by team of horses. Followed by gun carriages (?) drawn by horses. Soldiers on horseback. In a factory we see a one-armed man at work on machinery. Other men in white coats at work - seem to be making boxes out of wood or cardboard. Troops on parade ground. Presenting Colour (flag).
