W&R: Sabang Beach - Puerto Galera, Philippines

We took a little trip over to Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera in the Philippines. This trip involves a bus ride from Manila to the Batangas Pier, a little “navigating“ through some vendors and finally a ferry ride from Batangas to Puerto Galera. We provide step by step instructions on how to navigate this little adventure as it can be a little stressful for the uninitiated. Sabang is one of the most popular diving destinations in the Philippines. While world class scuba diving is the main draw there are also remote beaches, waterfalls, boat excursions and plenty of other activities to explore. The most delightful thing about Sabang Beach and Puerto Galera is the lack of crowds. Tourism here is still recovering and you can literally lose yourself inside a book while laying on a tropical beach underneath a palm tree. This type of place is getting harder and hard to find.
