Tens of thousands people evacuated from flood-hit areas in Pakistan

More than 100,000 residents of Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province were reportedly evacuated due to heavy floods that hit the area in the in the past three weeks. The rescue operations were expanded last week when the Sutlej River started overflowing, inundating several districts.
