Titles read: “CAMEL TRANSPORT IN THE DESERT“. Middle East. Various shots of Ruwallah Arabs preparing their camels to take drums of petrol from Damascus to Palmyra. Commentator says “From now on, hundreds of gallons of petrol will travel by camel train, thereby saving wear and tear on more than two hundred motor lorries“. British soldiers fill up the small drums and they are loaded into bags and put on the camels’ backs. The Arabs give a thumb print as a signature for delivery.
