President Roosevelt’s Tour Of USA (1942)

Titles read: “PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT’S TOUR OF USA“. Various locations in United States of America. Various shots of President Franklin D Roosevelt in a car, driving round the Consolidated Bomber Works at San Diego, California and looking at the huge planes. He then visits wounded naval men at Bremerton Navy Yard and shakes hands with one of them from his car. Roosevelt takes a look at a Japanese two-man submarine which was washed up at the time of Pearl Harbour. Roosevelt next visits a Ford warplane factory and talks with Henry Ford. Mrs Eleanor Roosevelt is also present in the car. Then at the Chrysler tank works at Detroit, he sees tanks out on the testing ground. One tank steams towards the President’s car and stops just a few feet away. He then sees a large cargo ship which was built in only ten days, at the Henry Kaiser Shipyard.
