As the band’s lead guitarists, vocalists, and primary songsmiths, their journey is a testament to the unbreakable bond shared by siblings and the synergy it brings. Introduced to the world of guitar at a tender age of eight, Sean and Chad’s passion propelled them through years of musical exploration. Initially performing under the moniker “The Bierman Brothers,“ their magnetic energy caught the attention of the public, earning them a featured spot on KLOS’s Heidi and Frank show in September 2021. The group’s lineup is fortified by Nonso Ikeji, a virtuoso on bass guitar and vocals and Dean Foster, the master of percussion. Nonso and Dean crossed paths with Sean and Chad during their time at Cypress Community College, solidifying their role in the band in 2021. Subsequently, “The Bierman Brothers“ transitioned into Familiar Faces. Renowned for their high-voltage live shows, Familiar Faces have electrified audiences along the California coast, gracing the stages of iconic venues such as The Troubador, The Mint, Catalina Island, and DiPiazza’s. Expect to witness guitar-shredding skateboard sessions and jamming escapades amidst the treetops when they’re not on stage. The band recently completed recording nine tracks in collaboration with GRAMMY-winning producer/engineer Erik Zobler. Their music weaves a tapestry of psychedelic rock and indie influences, channeling the spirits of Tame Impala, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Jacob Collier. Their songs resonate with the quintessential experiences of Southern California’s youth, navigating the spectrum of challenges and exhilaration it presents. Amidst their burgeoning success, Familiar Faces remains grounded and approachable, actively engaging with their fans and fellow musicians. Their unwavering love for music and unwavering dedication to their craft shine through every endeavor, signaling an even brighter future on the horizon.
