For the Born To Be Blonde video Jesse® wanted to create an entirely unique and never-before seen art style, something that would reflect his status as an icon while also being completely original. He approached Artist/Director/Filmmaker @zacksekuler with the imagery he had in mind. “I wanted to show Jesse® examples of other iconic styles so I gathered some Warhol references.” Jesse® was impressed with how fast Sekuler had created the exact visuals he had in mind. “I tried explaining that Warhol was an iconic artist who existed already but I think all he heard was ’iconic’ and so he just replied with ’exactly.’ pretty much the end of that conversation.” Jesse® was right. His iconic status would only grow until he was considered a legend & this video would only go on to make that fact more concrete. The style would go on to be considered what we now call Popped Art® When we asked Jesse® what he thought about the genre he created he simply replied, “Pop Tart?
