Chicago Loop & Jack Smooth - Overspeed

Spektre’s record label Respekt presents the 5th instalment in its Respekt Rebels various artist series, which features solo peak time techno tracks by Atroxx, Jody 6, Mark Porter and Sam Kitt, as well as a collaboration between Chicago Loop and Jack Smooth. Chicago Loop is a veteran producer from the UK who has close ties to Respekt, and Jack Smooth is another pioneering artist from the UK whose style ranges from techno to jungle. Both these artists have been releasing music since the ’90s and their track “Overspeed“ has a throbbing bassline and breakbeat rhythms layered with old-school vocal textures to create a timeless groove.
