Unit fire kills 45-year-old man in Sydney

A man has died after a unit fire in Sydney. Crews were called to the Meadowbank unit around 3:30pm on Monday. Firefighters found smoke billowing from the top floor of the apartment complex. The 45-year-old resident was treated at the scene for significant injuries. He was taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition where he later died.
