Milky Way Time-lapse - Day to Night to Day in 39 Seconds- Davis Mountains Sept 2015

Watch in HD if at all possible! This video shows a time lapse of one of the few decent nights my brother Phil and I had together in the Davis Mountains. Late in the day the clouds break and we have a decent observing session with the telescope and binoculars. The summer Milky Way is prominent 9 seconds into the 39 second video. Water Vapor clouds dance around the Milky Way star clouds. We see clouds going opposite directions for a time (what’s up with that!?) Late in the night Orion rises just before daylight fades to white. This video is composed of 1192 individual frames. This is the first time I’ve seriously processed the base images using Lightroom prior to constructing the video. The primary edits involved increasing the brightness, while taming some extreme green skyglow. I then used Photoshop to create the video at 30 frames per second. Nikon D750, 14mm on the 14-28mm lens, ISO 1600, 30 second exposures.
