Moon Phase Simulation

My edit from a video by TeethoftheLamb where he is wondering if the moon is really more like a close to flat disc and sort of wobbles to where ends poke through a water-like substance that surrounds the earth. In the simulation, the blue water represents conditions in the day, and the black water represents conditions at night.
