Super Mario 128 [Update: See description for updated ultimate version]

Please note this was before we learned to invest in a tripod :) and remember this was not intended to be viewed raw from start to finish, so you will see plenty of clumsy camera adjustments etc -- in those days, we only intended to publish segments of a few seconds here and there, because that was the way online video was done back in 2000 -- no one downloaded more than a few MB at a time so any videos you would find were much smaller clips (with the primitive MPG video compression of the era). But for the sake of completeness this is the whole Mario 128 presentation re-encoded in h264. Also, while an English translation was made available to press conference attendees, it was beyond our capability at the time to feed that into the capture... we started doing that kind of thing at conferences from 2003 or 2004 I think. So enjoy the wonderful Japanese language!
