This is what the Lord says3 Joshua 24:2 Joshua said to all the people, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Long ago your ancestors, including Terah the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the Euphrates River and worshiped other gods. As we examine the Book of Joshua the 24th chapter we see the Lord having to renew a covenant with his people at shechem, the people the Israelites had been unfaithful and had broken Covenant with God so there was a need for a New Covenant a new contract a new written agreement to be made without creator. One of the things we see the Spirit of God doing through the great leader Joshua is going over the nation of Israel’s true history. The reason why that is important children of God is because human beings can and do get deceived by the adversary sometimes the adversary has us doing things and saying things that we are not even aware of and sometimes the adversary will lead and have us remembering things in ways that are not true. but the spirit
