Triumph Motorcycles has announced the Tiger Sport 800 and its new sport touring motorcycle, both of which embody Triumph’s signature character and performance, delivering an exciting, engaging and dynamic riding experience. Let us explain what the new motorcycle is all about. The Tiger Sport 800 is designed to strike the ideal balance between exhilarating sporty performance and long-distance touring capability. It features a thrilling engine, an engaging yet comfortable chassis, unrivalled versatility and rider-focused technology, all in a high specification and premium finish. The new high-performance 800cc three-cylinder engine produces 115PS at 10,750rpm. More importantly, 90% of the torque is available in the mid-range, peaking at 84Nm at 8,500rpm, ensuring broad torque distribution and quick rider response. The Tiger Sport 800 is agile and responsive, thanks to its dynamic and confidence-inspiring chassis, adjustable Showa suspension, radial brake calipers and a kerb weight of just 214kg. The sculpted aerodynamic body and internal wind deflector provide improved wind protection and spacious ergonomics for rider and pillion, while the comfortable seat and integrated pillion grab rail all contribute to exceptional comfort on longer rides. Rider-focused technology ensures that the Tiger Sport 800 performs well in any condition.
