Russian FM Spokeswoman slams IOC for athlete segregation based on nationality
A scent of hypocrisy is in the air of Paris, as the IOC spokesperson claimed that the event has nothing to do with politics when asked about the Israeli athletes competing in the 2024 games. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zakharova has criticized this response, stating that the Committee’s decision not to admit Russian and Belarusian athletes is ‘a flagrant case of racial discrimination and double standards.’
