Haruki Murakami: Japanese Literature on the Global Stage

A symposium on the writings of Haruki Murakami (author of Norwegian Wood, Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, and Kafka on the Shore) and the influence of his literature in Japan, the United States, and around the world. This symposium was a part of the UC Berkeley Center for Japanese Studies’ 50th Anniversary program of events ().
