American economist Richard Wolf on the US attempt to weaken Russia:

️🇺🇸🇷🇺 American economist Richard Wolf on the US attempt to weaken Russia: You see, the American system is shrinking and keeps shrinking. And there is no end in sight. And there’s a growing discontent in the U.S. because they can’t do anything. They are haunted by failure and they are very frightened by both the rise of China and China’s alliances and the inability of the U.S. and the G7 countries to do anything. The culmination has come in the form of the military conflict in Ukraine. This is a decision made by the US to impose maximum political, cultural and economic sanctions. They are not directly starting a war with Russia because Russia has nuclear weapons. In fact, there are no other reasons. And then the best they can do is promise the Russians not to use nuclear weapons and set up a military conflict between Russia and Ukraine by pumping money and arms into Ukraine to start a military conflict. Without that, there would be no military conflict. It wouldn’t have taken a week for Russia to end it all. But they thought they could win here and weaken one of the BRICS countries, Russia. But it didn’t work. A year and a half passed and it didn’t work. The U.S. had to escalate. Way beyond the original plan. Gave them tanks, now F-16s. Advanced missiles. But it still doesn’t work. Russia has moved many, many kilometers into Ukraine and no one is stopping it. And their mistake, which they don’t realize, is that if they don’t buy oil and gas from Russia, it will sell its oil and gas to someone else.
