Adorable fawn! Goffstown, NH

A fawn ran across my yard at 6:30am a couple weeks ago and made itself comfortable under the living room window. We opened the window to take pictures and to our astonishment the fawn was not afraid of us. After laying down peacefully for 20 minutes the morning commute picked up and the fawn started to “bleat“ at passing cars. The mother was near by, we saw her at one point but when she saw us the jumped back into the bushes. We eventually had to guide the little one back out to the woods where we first saw the mother. I’m sure with the amount of noise the fawn made that the mother was staying close by. :-)
