Enemy Disruption Infantry Patrol in Afghanistan - Combat in Afghanistan - Ghazni Province

2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry from 1st Infantry Division in Ghazni Province travels through one of the most dangerous areas in Afghanistan because of information about 2 HBED’s in the area and to disrupt enemy moment. During the patrol the Soldiers took small arms fire from all sides. Late in the day an officer was hit by an enemy sniper, the wound resulted in his death.
