Who Was Prince William’s Godfather King Constantine II of Greece?

Members of the Royal Family attended a thanksgiving service for the late King Constantine of Greece on Tuesday. But the Prince of Wales didn’t attend as he had to cancel at the last minute due to personal reasons, Kensington Palace said. Constantine II reigned as the last King of the Hellenes from 1964 to 1973 and played a significant part in the British Royal Family’s lives. The special relationship between the Greek and British Royal Families stem from the late Prince Philip who was born in Corfu as a Prince of Greece and Denmark in 1921. Their familial relation helped them become close, with Constantine being entrusted with the role of Prince William’s godfather. #royalfamily #princewilliam #greece Follow us for more royal news, history, and highlights: ♛ Subscribe to our YouTube channel (tap the bell icon and stay up to date with all the latest Royal videos!) - ♛ Find us on TikTok @royalfamilychannel ♛ Follow us on Facebook - ♛ Tweet with us! -
