“If Anything The Racial Bias Of The Police Is The Other Way” | ‘Two-Tier Policing’ Debate Talk’s Peter Cardwell hosts a debate between former Tory special adviser James Price and The Independent chief political commentator John Rentoul, on whether there is ‘two-tier policing’ of the riots across the UK. It comes after Sir Keir Starmer chaired a meeting of the Government’s emergency Cobra committee on Tuesday evening, the second in two days, to co-ordinate the response to ongoing unrest on Britain’s streets. Officers were preparing for further violence on Tuesday night, with police braced for a potentially busy day on Wednesday as they monitor reports of at least 30 possible gatherings.
