The Marmalade is a Scottish pop rock band from the east end of Glasgow, originally formed in 1961 as The Gaylords, and then later billed as Dean Ford and the Gaylords. In 1966 they changed the band name to The Marmalade. “Cousin Norman“ was written by Hugh Nicholson and reached #6 in the UK charts in 1971.
