High angle shot of former flyweight Jimmy Wilde having a boxing bout in a ring with another man - both are in white jerseys and trousers. A man in a suit stands in the ring with them, saying that Jimmy is going to give us some of his experiences in the ring when he was flyweight champion of the world. Jimmy stops boxing and talks to camera about his first bout. He has quite a high-pitched voice with a Welsh (?) accent. He talks of ringing his wife after he won a match and saying he’d be home the next day. He actually got back 4 or 5 days later and had his hardest fight (with his wife). We then see several shots of Jimmy demonstrating with the other man, who turns out to be his son, “exactly what to do if you should meet a nasty customer on a dark and stormy night“ - self defence in other words.
