We start with the latest on the coronavirus in South Korea.
Today there were fewer than two-thousand new cases reported for a second day in a row the number coming in at 1-thousand-5-hundred-94.
That’s also nearly 5-hundred fewer than last Sunday.
But the authorities are concerned about another potential surge when testing picks back up after the three-day weekend that runs through Monday.
On the vaccination front, the country for the first time saw more than 1 million people get their second dose in a single day.
That brings the total number of people fully vaccinated to over 30 million nearly 60 percent of the total population.
