A country goods yard in the 1950s - or is it?

This is a wonderful film made by Jack Shaw, a volunteer on the Quorn & Woodhouse station team in association with Quorn Wagon and Wagon (one of our in-house wagon restoration teams). Perfectly capturing the style of a British Transport film from the 1950s, it tells the story of how freight flows from yard to train, via the all important goods shed. Sit back and let the nostalgia flow over you, safe in the knowledge this was all shot in 2020 and the scenes are still very much alive.
