Israel-Hamas war: Iran attack on Israel looms as Blinken visits Netanyahu | LiveNOW from FOX

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has departed America for the Middle East where he is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu on Monday, as negotiations for a ceasefire and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas continue in Cairo. Israeli negotiators said they were “cautiously optimistic” following last week’s peace talks in Doha, Qatar. Blinken’s visit to Israel comes as concerns loom over an “imminent” attack from Iran that US officials have said could come with little to no warning. Iran has said it will retaliate against Israel for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh who was killed while in Tehran for the presidential inauguration. Israel has not claimed responsibility for that attack. In the meantime, the Hezbollah terror group in Lebanon continues to launch attacks on northern Israel, as Israel conducts strikes within Lebanon.
