This is part of a series of live performance for the short lived 1950’s variety series Show Time at The Apollo which were later re-cut into the theatrical releases Rhythm and Blues Revue, Basin Street Revue and Rock ’n’ Roll Revue. This is a great live performance of Ruth Ruth backed by the Paul Williams Orchestra. All footage from this series fell into the public domain in 1985 due to lack of copyright renewal.
