Steve Smith - Coltrane Revisited: Spiritual 2021

John Coltrane’s birthday is September 23, 1926. During the week of September 21-25, 2021, Vincent Herring (tenor sax) Jaleel Shaw (alto sax) Helen Sung (piano) Kenny Davis (bass) and I played the music of John Coltrane in celebration of his birth and great contribution to music. The event was organized and directed by music impresario Milan Simich. “Spiritual“ was the opening piece.
