Art VanDamme plays Satin Doll with Tony Dannon in1997

Art is performing as a quartet with Tony Dannon (a great jazzman), in honor of his friend who just turned 60, in Detroit USA in 1997. Art VanDamme is credited with single-handedly diversifying the repertoire of the accordion at a time when its popularity was restricted to polkas and folk music. His career includes a 15 year stint at NBC Chicago, numerous LP recordings, and extensive nightclub work and concert appearances throughout the USA and Europe. (more)
