Fathomage (Australia) — Psalms of Reverence and Lamentations — 2021 full-length

Who would say I would get to really enjoy an unblack album. This project belongs to Akul which hails from Adelaide, Australia and is already his 5th album. It has quite an epic feel to it on some songs and on others he manages to build up quite an atmosphere hiding the tortuous vocals under the guitar riffs. Unfortunately in the middle of the album, on the third track starts a bit off track but by the middle of it already manages to recover and ends on a high note. The album keeps on a crescendo with the forth track which is entirely acoustic and magnificent, and next goes back to what he does best. Quite enjoyable, he knows how to produce the right atmosphere and his vocals are pretty good.
