South Korea: robotic avatars to teach English (Learning World: S1E37, part 3/3)

In South Korea, robotic avatars are being introduced in elementary schools in order to keep up with teaching English. The project was started due to a shortage of English teachers in South Korea with the avatars assisting teachers in the classroom. However, it has proven to be very popular with South Korean students, which is why the government will extend its use throughout the country.
