Leedy trapset vintage 1920s at Winnies Drumkit

From the Winnie’s Drumkit drummuseum. This is a typical twenties drumset aka trapset. The felt-lined traptable on top of the 28 inch big Leedy double tension Spartan model gold sparkle bassdrum, holds your sticks, brushes, whistles and other traps you would need to support a silent-movie. The Chinese templeblocks and the two 12 & 13 paperthin cymbals cling to the table. The snaredrum is an 1927 Leedy nickel over brass shell snaredrum with doubleflanged stickchoppers, 4screw lugs and Speedway stainer. Nice touch is the Leedy bassdrum mounted triangle and crotale cymbal. I used the hickory sticks that came with the set, a 17 inch long 7A model.
