Daladier is driven off to London for talks with Neville Chamberlain about the Czech Crisis (see ’Rush Version’ of this story for more footage of the arrival). Several shots of a huge rally against Hitler at Trafalgar Square; brief shots of speakers and enormous crowds. Demonstrators march through the streets with mounted police escort; banners read “Stop German Aggression - Act To Save Peace!“, “Stand By Czechoslovakia Against German Fascist Aggression“ and “For Peace Stop Hitler“. In Czechoslovakia we see several shots of a demonstration in a town.
