EXPLORING JEWISH MEDITATION – Rabbi Michael Skobac – Jews for Judaism Recorded in 2010 For the past decades, there has been a growing interest in meditation and mindfulness throughout the world. Tragically, many people assume that these are foreign to Judaism. In this program, Rabbi Skobac explores the deep roots that both meditation and mindfulness practice have in the Torah and Judaism going back thousands of years. In truth, virtually everything in Judaism can be experienced as a meditation to cultivate elevated states of awareness and consciousness. This is most obvious when reciting blessings and during prayer.
