Learn How to Paint “BEACH BOAT AND BIRDS“ with Acrylic Paint - Paint & Sip at Home - Easy Tutorial

PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – This painting tutorial will take you through easy step-by-step instructions on how to draw and paint this dreamy animal portrait seascape painting “BEACH BOAT AND BIRDS” with acrylic paint. I’m a different kind of beach goer. Although I enjoy the sound of the waves and the sand in my toes, you’re not going to catch me on the beach mid-day sunbathing, playing volleyball, surfing, or even swimming for that matter. I like to go early in the morning, around sunrise, to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of the ocean when no one else is around and you feel as if the entire ocean belongs to you. That early morning chill begins to dissipate as the sun warms your skin as it peaks its head above the distant horizon. The perfect way to start the morning. I only get to enjoy that a couple times a year when I’m on a holiday or vacation if I’m lucky. It was this last vacation I took to Eastham in Cape Cod during my early morning beach walk when I saw this abandoned boat on the edge of the shore that really captivated me and became the inspiration for this painting. In dreams, literature, folklore, mythology, and the Bible, boats symbolize a journey, expedition, quest, passage, migration, pilgrimage, crossing, campaign, adventure, progress, exploration, itinerary, or personal drive and motivation, and are the vessel we ride in throughout the voyage of life. So, join me and learn to paint this easy landscape and share your life’s odyssey with your own interpretation of a boat and your journey in life. The first lesson you’ll learn in this easy painting tutorial is how use simple color mixing and painting techniques for blending the background for added depth and atmospheric dimension creating a heavenly and spiritual feel to your canvas with light blue and tan colors, the perfect backdrop for your beautiful ocean water and beach scenery. You’ll then use a dry brush technique to create soft and gentle waves and texture to the beach sand. You’ll learn how to paint an angelic sun and reflections with a simple dabbing and dotting technique. After learning how to draw a boat and birds, you’ll apply a simple base coat for your subjects to work off of. In the next step of this beginner art lesson, you’ll learn how to use a directional brushstroke to create form to your ship, giving it the appearance of roundness. Then you’ll accentuate the contours and form of the watercraft by layering colors followed by properly placed highlights and shadows to develop dimension and texture that will creating a 3-d photo effect and appearance making you want to jump in it and take this boat out for a fishing adventure. Then you’ll paint feathers, wings and facial features to your egrets. The process of painting a bird is so simple, you’ll be able to paint any beach bird you want, whether it’s a pelican, seagull, clover, sandpiper, or heron. Next, you’ll use a one brushstroke technique to easily make wild grass, then add personalized signature. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors we’ll create this nautical animal oceanscape. Not just a beautiful painting, but an easy painting for beginners. So, let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
