5 YEAR SURFSKATE PROGRESSION

My SURFSKATE PROGRESSION from zero to professional in 5 years. I was a professional ballerina growing up and thought you needed to be like Tony Hawk to skate. Had no idea learning surf skate would change my life, give me direction, happiness and belonging. I created GRLSWIRL because I had no one to skate with and the group of women I found changed my life. We all co founded GRLSWIRL and now are the largest skate group in the world, are sponsored by huge brands, have starred and directed skate shoots for 40 top companies, teach kids around the world, host 100 group skates world wide and more ALL BECAUSE OF THIS LITTLE BOARD. This is random footage and pretty raw but wanted to show the unedited side of learning. Takes time and commitment and courage.
