The jump training was likely filmed at the paratroop training site located at Fort Benning, Georgia or Camp Toccoa, Georgia adjacent to Currahee Mountain. The ski segment was likely filmed in Aspen, Colorado near the 10th Mountain Division’s Camp Hale, where soldiers were trained in mountain climbing, Alpine and Nordic skiing and cold-weather survival.
