The Greedies was a late 70s group made up of members of Thin Lizzy and The Sex Pistols. ’A Merry Jingle’ was their Christmas single in 1979, performed here as the closing item on the “Will Kenny Everett Make It To 1980?“ new year’s eve show with lyrics changed from the recorded version to wish everyone a Happy New Year rather than a Merry Christmas.
