John Mearsheimer, an American political scientist and international relations scholar, speaks to Freddie Sayers on UnHerd about how Israel is a state and Hamas is a group that ‘is a resistance movement.’ Mearsheimer believes Israel is a remarkably powerful state that is ‘militarily the most powerful in the region.’ He further adds that ‘Hamas is not the Third Reich.
