Plus size women are fashionable too! This video details 100 years of fashion for a plus size woman, comparing the popular silhouettes from 1820-1910. How did things change from the Regency to the Romantic era of the 1830s and 1840s? What happens as we move through the Victorian era, like once hoops are invented in the 1860s, and how did they evolve into the bustle eras of the 1870s and 1880s? How different are the 1890s from the 1900s? And as the Edwardian era progressed into the 1910s, how drastic was that silhouette change?
