Cheetah With Six Cubs | Maasai Mara Safari | Zebra Plains

A lovely sighting of a female cheetah with six small cubs seen on safari in the Maasai Mara at Zebra Plains. I recently posted a video of Siligi the female cheetah that gave birth to a litter of seven cubs last year. This video of her and the cubs was taken a few days after the previous clip and unfortunately one of the cubs had already been lost. Siligi would go on to lose all but one of that massive litter of cubs. Cheetah cubs have a very low survival rate in the wild, only around 5% make it to adulthood due to pressure from other predators and lack of wild spaces for the cheetah to thrive.
