Farmers in Spain block major highway, denouncing EU agricultural policies

Farmers blocked the AP7 highway near the Spanish-French border to protest the European Union’s agricultural policies and cheap imports ahead of the bloc’s elections. Dozens of tractors blocked traffic, many of those carrying signs reading ’Without farming, we have no future,’ ’Here begins the European agricultural resistance’ and ’No farmers. No food. No future.’
