Salsa Shines Homework: Rhythm Shine 001

This is the first in a series of what I call Rhythm Shines. The shines are performed to a specific rhythm, but can be done to any track. A percussion player, like a bongo player, learns to play free rhythms across basic rhythms. As a dancer you can do the same thing. I’ve created a track with the rhythm to help you as you do the shine. After a while you should try to play or chant the rhythm while listening to another track. Once you can do that, you can use the shine on any track. These
