It’s fascinating to me, how people think they figured out a person just from a single conversation or meeting. It gives comfort to put everything and everyone in a labeled box. Truth is, the only constant in this world is change and transformation. The person you are today is not the person you were yesterday. The more you fight to keep yourself the same, the more pain you feel. Although I spend 24/7 with myself, I’m still discovering new things. And the most important thing that I discovered, is that within myself, among other things, there will always be a blank canvas that I can fill at any time and decide who I want to be. If I don’t decide quickly, others will decide for me.
