“Not who I am:“ NY Gov. Cuomo denies sexual misconduct findings in AG probe

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo denied the findings on Tuesday of a five-month investigation by the state’s attorney general that found he sexually harassed multiple women in violation of U.S. and state law and created a “climate of fear“ in his office. “I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances. I am 63 years old. I have lived my entire adult life in public view. That is just not who I am and that’s not who I have ever been,“ he said following the release of the 168-page report. The investigation showed that Cuomo engaged in unwanted groping, kissing and hugging, and made inappropriate comments to a total of 11 women, state Attorney General Letitia James told a news briefing earlier on Tuesday.
