Michel Legrand Orchestra featuring Frankie Laine - Si tu partais

Arguably the best track from ’Foreign Affair’, Legrand’s first collaboration with jazz crooner Frankie Laine. Laine doesn’t put a foot wrong on this track but Legrand’s spaciously majestic arrangement is even better. The duo got together a year later for ’Reunion in Rhythm’, one of the best vocal big band albums of the era.
