Elfirium - Recall

Although many compare the films “Total Recall” in 1990 and 2012, not in favor of the latter, I like it no less. After all, its fantastically atmospheric cyberpunk spirit adds an unforgettable viewing experience, moreover, even thanks to its ending, it makes you look at the entire story in a completely different way. I love both films. Each of them tells the story in its own way, in unique settings and in its own mood. The idea of self-discovery and the genre-classic questions about the nature of reality that this film attempts to parse through the theme of memories are perfect for a cyberpunk setting. All this inspired me to create a new musical history. Thanks to the entire crew and all the wonderful cast for an amazing and exciting film! Colin Farrell - perfectly embodied Douglas Quaid on the screen. Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel are amazing actresses and beauties - you enjoy watching them in every scene. Special thanks to Bill Nighy - his Matthias turned out great (and what a voice - already goosebumps!). It was his dialogue with Quaid that served as the starting point for beginning work on the composition. I also express my great admiration for the most beautiful Mishael Morgan, who performed so well, albeit a small, but very memorable role of the Rekall receptionist. Her voice immediately falls in love with herself - a genuine discovery for me. Bokeem Woodbine - perfectly played the friend of the protagonist. John Cho is the epitome of elegance and charisma. His scene with the main character - became one of the fundamental for this track. Be sure to mention the actresses who voiced the messages of information systems in the film: Bridget Hoffman - she gave her voice to the operating system of the levitating car, and Leigh Folsom - her phrases greeted and accompanied passengers during landing and movement in the elevator train through the core of the planet (The Fall). Such sound details are very important for any science fiction film to create a special atmosphere of the world of the future. And they were very helpful to me, too. I also want to mention Bryan Cranston. Although I did not use his voice in this composition, the film would not have been as good without him. Director Len Wiseman did a great job and was able to great tell us an already known story in his own interesting and exciting way, with great action scenes and a great cyberpunk atmosphere. Thank you for your attention and time!
