Russian rescue crews frantically search through rubble after Moscow terror attack stuns country

Investigators found weapons and other evidence after camouflage-clad gunmen opened fire at concertgoers near Moscow on Friday (March 22), killing at least 60 people and injuring 145 in an attack claimed by Islamic State militants. The Russian Investigative Committee released footage of a rifle lying on the ground and staff examining spare gun magazines and spent bullet casings at the 6,200-seat Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, where the attack occurred. Gunmen sprayed civilians with bullets just before Soviet-era rock group “Picnic“ was to perform to a full house, with the incident marking the deadliest attack in Russia since the 2004 Beslan school siege.
