Pos from De La Soul recently revealed that the original idea for “Saturdays” was to rap in the cadence of Chic “Good Times”. And also, that this song wasn’t originally intended for De La Soul but for his “secret” side project “The Fabulous Fleas”! A group with Pos, Q-Tip Juju and Afrika Baby Bam.
