Madeira, Portugal, is experiencing severe flooding after about 600mm of rain fell in just 24 hours. New all-time record! The Oscar Depression brought continuous heavy rainfall to the area. As a result of heavy rainfall, which affects the Madeira archipelago, on Tuesday, June 6, there were severe flash floods. Two walls are reported to have collapsed and trees to fall. Three families have been displaced.
